Second daylong session teaching how to begin beekeeping with this 8-hour class that covers the basics for setting up honey bee hives and care for bees in your first years together. The class is certified by Great Plains Master Beekeeping for scientifically-based best management practices. February 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Deadline to register is February 10.
Cost $100 per person; $180 for a couple. Minimum class age 15 years. Price includes catered lunch, refreshments, class materials and chance to win 8-frame bee hive.
