Since 2016, the Honoring Our Heroes Marathon has been the only marathon event in South-Central Missouri. Since its inaugural run, this event has raised over $80,00 for local veterans’ causes. If 26.2 isn’t your distance, they have a half marathon, marathon relay, 10K, and 5K.

The event kicks off Friday evening, November 18 with a Pasta Party in Salem at the Armory, it is free for race participants, $8 for guests, and $4 for youth 12 and under. The races take place Saturday, November 19. The marathon and marathon relay will begin at the Commons Fairground in Salem and end at the Lions Club Park in Rolla. The half marathon will start between Salem and Rolla near Lake Spring and end at Lions Club Park. The 5K and 10K will take place along the Rolla Acron Trail and inside Rolla Lions Club Park. The last day to register is November 18, there will be no race day registrations available.
