Comments: I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on a recent trip to Rolla, MO. As a person that stays in hotels over 100 nights per year, I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest limited service hotels I've ever stayed in. To call it limited service doesn't do this hotel justice. The lobby and guest rooms are as nice as some Marriotts and Westins I've stayed in. Granite countertops in the bathrooms and luxury bedding were just two features that made me feel like I was staying in a 4-star hotel. The wireless internet was fast and reliable and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of hot and cold items. The treadmill in the fitness center was nicer than my 24-Hour Fitness health club treadmills back home. I didn't use the indoor pool but I sat next to the pool and read a book one evening. It was nice because it would have been too cold to sit by an outdoor pool. The best thing about the Holiday Inn Express was the friendly service. Every employee I came in contact with made eye contact, smiled, and greeted me with a warm welcome. This is the hotel I will always stay in when I visit Rolla.
