Several community celebrations and festivals draw spectators and participants from near and far, including the Route 66 Summerfest, Phelps County Fair, and the Lions Club annual carnival and July 4th celebration.  Throughout the summer season, the Rolla community hosts monthly classic car cruise-ins and journeys down historic Route 66, which runs through the heart of Rolla.

Families cool off during the hot summer days by going to SplashZone Waterpark and floating on the many river ways.  Summertime is also the season for camping, fishing, and horseback riding all through the region.

Rolla is the host city to numerous sporting tournaments.  If you’re a cyclist, you will love the many biking trails throughout the area and you can even participate in group cycling journeys through the Ozarks and an occasional race.

If you prefer a more relaxed day, join us in a tour through a local winery and wrap up with an evening at Ozark Actors Theatre for an enticing show.
