Rolla Chamber & Phelps for the Fort Host Tour of Rolla

(11/17/2009)… The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with Phelps for the Fort recently hosted the 2009 Fort Leonard Wood Spouses Tour of Rolla. Over 35 spouses were in attendance and were treated to a day of fun and shopping. The event included a welcome reception, shopping, bus tour of Rolla, and a luncheon with a mini expo of various Rolla businesses and our theatres. The goal of this annual event is to showcase the “hidden treasures” in Rolla and reach out to our Fort Leonard Wood neighbors. The spouses had a wonderful time and were excited to learn about the things Rolla had to offer.
The Chamber would like to extend a thank you to the business community for their support and generosity; making the tour a great success!
